Let me ask you this: if you go to regen/fast dump with a full bucket of whatever, does you bucket dump faster than it does in regular dump? And in regular dump does it dump slower than when curling the bucket back with the same load?

I can answer some of these. If in regen/fast dump mode, with a load of dirt in the bucket, Yes it dumps faster than in regular dump mode.. about twice as fast. And in regular dump mode it dumps at about the same speed as the bucket would curl. As for the cylinders getting hot, I don't know. I have never touched the cylinders after using it hard. These symptoms of yours have me confused too. I wish I could help.

KISS. This is probably not the problem but my neighbor's new FEL wouldn't work right and the dealer finely fixed it by following the KL 401 direction on 6-3 to cycle the hydraulics several times. Might be worth a try. If air got in the tip down side of the cylinders that might explain your symptoms.

FIXED!! :cool2::dance1:
Feeling good! Got back my regen/fast dump and backblade capabilities. First of all many thanks to ALL who helped me think this one through - I really appreciate your input!:thumbsup::D
Now the solution. I had been waiting for something to change and give me some sort of clue as to what might be going on. Here's what happened. I had noted a few spots on the garage floor that I thought were from a recent overzealous greasing of the loader/tractor. BUT it also looked like some sort of minor amount of water might be mixed in since there was a milky color to the spot on the floor. I noted it in the back of my mind in case it came into play later. Well, today I decided I needed the hoe to dig out some stumps, and also wanted to try out my new flat edged bucket bra to scrape out a ditch at my flip property, once the intruding stumps were removed.
So I removed the winch, got ready to hook-up to the hoe, and when the hoe's subframe hit against the tractor's frame my wife, who was my spotter for hoe frame alignment, said I had something dripping on the floor.:eek: What now I'm thinking? Did I break something?! Started taking a closer look under the FEL valve body located under the right side floorboard. Above two hydraulic lines covered in the cloth sheath type line protector was a QD fitting that was leaking. I had to cut several zip ties to access the QD. It was secured by a number of cable ties and was not easy to completely disconnect so I could try to figure out how to get a solid connection, and make sure it did NOT come loose ever again, (with-in reason).
So because my employee put the QD's where he did, for some unknown reason one was partially loose and hardly leaking at all, but it must have been letting air in, or just not allowing the line to function to capacity. Whatever the problem I had forgotten the pair of QD's were even located there since I needed to extend the factory lines to feed the diverter valve. What doesn't make sense is that connection has been there a long time and I don't even know how it could have come loose to begin with. And I sometimes don't know how a QD can be fully connected and then disconnected when we went out of our way to secure it on the chassis. I guess sticks can manage to find a way to go where no stick has ever gone before!:confused3:
What lesson did I learn from this issue? Be patient, things will unfold as needed and can help one solve whatever problem is plaguing one's tractor without running around hit or miss replacing things that don't need to be and won't solve the actual problem. Saying to be patient is not always a viable method due to tractor's needing to be used, So I understand it this particular way cannot always be implemented by everyone, it has to be a personal choice taking into account time constraints, etc.

Peace, CM out

Well.. That is what I thought it was and related to the diverter in post #2. Glad it was a no cost item and you got it fixed.

Good you got it fixed.

I just couldn't see how the diverter could have suddenly gone south. I get confused because I had already found one QD loose at the FEL valve body, and I guess it must have been just one of TWO connectors that the stick gremlins messed with. Sure was driving me nutz!:rolleyes:
Man it is so good to not have to keep trying to figure where to look.
Thanks!
