Broke my seat

I work pretty hefty slopes too.. I find this much more suitable than the original. The original seat arms were pretty much in my way all the time. I find this seat, very supportive due to the deeper bucket and the wrap effect of the loops. The pictures don't serve well, but I'm further in this seat than the first one. Coupled with the suspension, a big improvement.

It was a pretty direct install and I was able to get a sense that it would work before I committed it to the machine. I'd have been out shipping if it didn't work... Very satisfied.

First off - there's no way you're going to be able to replace that seat and stay married! Plus, it really looks good. You both did a great job.

I second Ag's experience on the suspension seat. I have the same one and like it. Adds some height but I'm 6'1" and don't hit my head on the rops

Related to tool storage I went two routes with a small pouch for some of the basic wrenches etc. Put a few powerful magnets inside the pouch and just slapped it on the front - doesn't budge at all. For bigger tools I cut down a car roof rack, modified the mounts a bit and made a wooden box to set on the cross members. The spider netting holds the box to the rack and the tools in the box.

oops, just realized the tool storage topic was an entirely different thread - sorry 'bout that.

Your wife knocked that out of the park man. That cover rocks!

At 6'3, I'm pushing it under the rops...but I fit safely (as far as I remember)

Although the rubber donuts (?) were working well, weren't they???

(carefully avoiding comments about the other donuts, Carl knows where I live)

Rubber Donuts do not sound fattening at all!

I can verify that the steel canopy on my PT425 was still just as hard last night when I whacked my head on it as the day I bought it 18 years ago. That's quality right there, folks!

Nice job on the seat! The 8 ball joystick, too. All you need is some fuzzy dice. :)

Do you have a link to your rubber donut source?
