Broken Bolt Or Plug By PTO?

I had planned to write what happened but forgot.....thanks for asking.
I ordered the plug from my dealer....which by the way.....the part cost $6.09....and my dealer charged me $6.57 freight!!! It arrived in a regular business envelope. I have sent my payment along with a letter asking what the heck is up with that.
I never found out what caused it to fall out. The rod that is in there (can't remember the exact name) moves in and out as you move the PTO lever up and down. It doesn't appear to move out far enough to contact the plug.
I have the new plug in and have put duct tape over it so hopefully if it does get pushed out the duct tape might keep it from getting lost.
Now the hydraulic fluid is leaking from around the fluid level site glass? It looks like the site glass is trying to fall out! I don't know what is going on.
According to the site glass I definitely didn't have too much fluid in.

ZxEfR- Sight glass falling out? I don't know whats happening, do you have a pressure problem? I dont think over filling it would cause that. Is your breather in the filler tube cap plugged? Are any other seals leaking? I would have placed some silicone around the plug before I tapped it in. fjb2c

Hi Folks,
The sight glass in my 2810 started leaking oil @ about 120 hours and I was able to pull it out with my fingers. I called my dealer, ordered a new one and he visited with Branson about the issue. He told me to use black silicone on the new one as per Branson. Before the new part arrived I took apart the old one, cleaned both the housing and parts, siliconed the inside and outside of the old one, and reinstalled. I let it sit for 24 hours to allow for a full cure before exposing to oil. So far, with another 20 hours on the tractor, the old sight glass has not leaked a drop. I will keep the new one on the shelf just in case.

fjb2c --- I don't have any other leaks and the breather is fine. I think it's just put in poorly, especially after hearing what jgreen has written.
