Broken Hydraulic Line

Was it brazed or tig welded? Thatç—´ a good fix. No reason to have something rigid off the motor like that. A bit of flex in that hose will go a long ways to preventing future failure.
I agree. Most likely vibration caused the original line to work harden and crack. That piece of hose should solve the problem. Very nice repair job, by the way.

If that particular line failure is a known issue and many are failing and that's why there is a backlog of orders, like Jabonee commented, you with think Mahindra would have figured it out.

Not to highjack-

I had a set of fitting “made” that converted my banjo style hydraulic (power steering) pump to JIC fittings years ago. They silver soldered the JIC to the banjo fitting much like the OP’s solution above. It has worked flawlessly! Hopefully a good tip for anyone in this situation.

Just wanted to give an update,

The replacement/upgraded hydraulic line arrived from Mahindra.
It seems they think going with a thicker line will resolve the problem.
The old line was 12mm, the new one is 15mm.

I will stay with the one Mark from Pirtek made for me.

Here are some pictures of the one that just arrived
