Check the link for the importer/distributor of the Farmi winches and Valby chippers. I own a Valby 140 pto
chipper that suffered a bent driveshaft due to the top link of the 3pt unthreading. As I lifted the 3pt., the shaft bent under the weight. Totally my fault.
I contacted Northeast Implement to acquire some new parts to complete the repair. Eric was the man that I spoke with. Parts were shipped quickly. I seem to remember less than $20.
As it turned out, the replacement shaft was larger in diameter than the shaft that I received from my local dealer when the
chipper was purchased.
Long story short, Eric fowarded the complete proper sized driveshaft with the couplings and plastic shielding to my dealer who inturn fowarded it to me. I returned the parts back to northeast and they refunded the cost.
If were you, I would measure the inside diameter and the full length of the shaft and contact Northeast to find out if what you have is the proper shaft for your winch. Perhaps they could tell you if there is an adjustment for the clutch.
I have found that the Valby
chipper is of a very high quality and I am completely satisfied with the performance of this machine. It will eat a 6 inch tree with no problem.
I did not receive a Parts manual with the purchase and when I mentioned this to Eric, He E-mailed one to me. Unfortunately, that E-mail has since been lost due to a computer virus.
Good luck and let us know how you made out. The web site has lots of good information and links.
