While mowing today, I noticed the speed monitor was not working. After finishing mowing, I crawled under the tractor and found a broken plastic piece that has 3 wires coming from it. Does anyone have any experience replacing this themselves or is this going to require a trip to the shop?

Ordered new revolution sensor on Thursday. $62.50 for a new one. Will pick it up Monday. Don't know yet what I will be getting into when I go to replace it. It looks like just one bolt and then plug in the wire to the new one. Will try to tackle that next week.

So long as it's easy accessible it should be a simple matter of unplugging/unbolting the old and plugging/bolting in the new. Do you have any idea what you hit to cause it to break? Price of the sensor was a little salty. Ouch.

Good luck w/it

While mowing today

I am curious as to what you are using for a mower with your L3130.

Thanks!

Wow... You have a speed monitor ?

I guess now I know why Kubota calls my L3400 the 'economy' tractor :)
