I should have looked at Brown's website before I posted above. That 600 series model is pretty extreme - all 1/4" material and with 6" wide blades. The 600 gearbox is rated 145hp where the 400 gearbox is 120. One job this machine would be good for is grinding up rows of apple tree prunings - a very high energy and violent operation that can rip up a rotary cutter deck made with 10 ga material. It may be that for general property reclamation and maintenance the 484 might be a better match? 1375 pounds centered 5 feet behind your rear wheels is manageable but 2200 might be pushing it, especially in the woods. With a nice heavy FEL and/or a big grapple, the imbalance would be less, but the 684 will seem like a lot of freight behind any Mxx40. My 2 cents.
