In need of a grapple on the front of the tractor. Equipped with a skid steer quick attach.

I'm thinking something along the lines of 60"-66". Smaller size. What's the weight limit I should be looking for? Local place has a 62" that's 820#. Guy on a forum I frequent builds a single ram, 60" one and weighs 260#. Quite the difference there, but his is "3/8" tines, 3/16" wall 2x3 and 2x4 tube along with schedule 80 pipe and a 2.5" cylinder."- kind of lost me at the Sched 80. Sort of seemed too light weight. And I think I want two rams over one.

So yea, what specs should I be looking for size wise? Thanks.

Normal steel pipe is schedule 40,schedule 80 is heavy and stronger.
I would check lift capacity of your load(assume about 1200lb) so you want a lighter grapple;I would assume.Don't know any advantage to two cylinders.
I have moved a lot of brush and logs with a single cylinder.

Can't find what my lift capacity is. I think I need to lookup what loader I have- I forget. LAsomething.

I attribute Sched with "poop pipe" so I may be wrong with that way of thought.

820# seems a bit heavy, but the guy that I've chatted with says 260# which almost seems too light.

Kubota factory loaders are in kilos;so 2.2x the number on the loader.

I have a SGC1072 Landpride Grapple. I love it. 6 ft and 447 lbs. strong and light.

My Land Pride SGC1560 grapple is - 60" wide and weighs 820 pounds. Of course, it's on my M6040 which is a tad larger than your L3710. I use it to lift really large rocks and chunks( 5' or 10') of pine tree trunk. If on solid footing I can lift 3000 pounds with no problems. These really heavy loads are NEVER lifted high. My technique is referred to as "knuckle dragging".

My grapple and a 8 foot chunk of pine tree trunk. This chunk is 38" in diameter. Also - consider doing something like I did to your front brush guard. Sticks, stobs and limbs have a nasty way of damaging your radiator, grill and battery.

Good stuff.

I'm actually going to call EA today on the EA 55" Wicked Root Rake Grapple. See what the story is there. Apparently a backlog.
