I finally took the time recently to add expanded metal to the brush guard of my LS. I didn't worry about finding paint that matches the LS blue as I thought gloss black would look good. The Everlast Power i-Mig 200 is doing very well for me.

Looks good in black too. Rustoleum Sail Blue is a close match (not exact, but close). That's what I used on my Flail. Now I have to get some expanded mesh for mine.

Good move,I did mine after I speared my lower grill and battery!

Did mine soon after I bought it. That expanded metal is fun to weld to the frame...Zap...Zap...Zap...Zap...Zap. Definitely a worthwhile investment. Mine has taken several hits that the bank account wouldn't have enjoyed very much had it not been there to guard the grille. Blocks the beam from the headlights a little, but that just gave me an excuse to mount up some floods on the ROPS:)

Thanks George, I had seen your earlier post about the Rustoleum but unfortunately the local hardware store didn't carry it. I like the black on the brush guard because it looks like a continuation of the black frame. If I ever add something that is more integrated into the body, or if I ever paint an attachment, I'll look for the Sail Blue.

Just an FYI for anyone. My local Walmart Superstore carries many colors of Rustoleum including Sail Blue in spray cans and quarts so check there if local hardware doesn't have it..
