Brush Guards for Your Kubota's

OK you fellow orange machine jockeys. Show me some pics of your brush guards, fabbed or purchased. I've got a '04 M4800 w/o FEL and no front suitcase weights. I'm considering building a brush guard for it. Thanks for all the input.

I had a suitcase bracket & some suitcase weights off of a JD 318 series mower.

It mounted with 2 spring-loaded pins on each side. Easy on, easy off. So - I made a brush guard for my BX1830 so that it would accept the suitcase brackets.

I don't have any pics of it now, I'll have to upload some, when I get a round tuit.

Personally I would start with the Kubota unit and build from there. There grill guard has a pivot set-up that makes servicing nice.

This grill gaurd/weight bracket was on the tractor when I got it. The piece in front of the grill folds down so the hood can be raised............This tractor is for sale by the way.

Thanks guys for the posts so far. Yes, any pics would help. I've considered dropping by the dealership and giving some of theirs a look see. Mine's an '04 and has about a 15 deg slope back off of the vertical front and was wanting to allow for that but also needed clearance for the hood when I raised it. My other option was to just build it straight and set forward enough for the clearance for the hood. Again, post pics if you have or can get them. Or like Jimmer said if you get a ROUND TUIT!

Here is my Standard gaurd that came on the 4400 with the loader. I would like to put some mesh on the bottom to make it look and function a little better.

I took off the factory brush guard and welded and fabbed a brush guard made of steel walkway material - used for gravel pit plankways - it is the best you can buy if you can find it new or at the scrap yard.
