Brush hog and covering tractor tracks

We've missed the fact that it IS possible to offset the mower to one side to clear one tire track, by shortening one side chain to get the mower to that side, then lengthening the other. The universals will cope with up to 15 degrees misalignment by design. I wouldn't recommend running it like that all day, but for a final finish pass around the outside of a field it would work ok.

My blades extend to within an inch of the sides of the mower, it sounds like JD's blades were changed to a shorter length to use with less HP.

b3030 25 hp pto 5ft land pride rcr1860 just mowed 10 acres 4-5 ft tall green mustard weed this weed is very course and stringy point is b3030 whent through ot lile swiss cheese in a few heavyer areas i just raised the mower a bit
