New here, question on LS MT242H and a Brush Hog

just go on Marketplace and look for a used 5-6 ft B-Hog , save some money compared
to new , that what i did

You can run the 6' cutter easily through light to medium duty work. If you really need to do much of the rough stuff work that a heavy duty bushog can do youre going to need a bigger tractor that can deliver near 10HP per foot mower width.

TractorGunn, I know its over a year later but I'm having the same conversation with myself and my tractor. I'm looking at rotary cutters for the new property. I like the RhinoAg models and I want a 6' width with a 2" cutting capacity. Which, like you drops me off at the TW26 model. Buuut, they want 35hp min. And I don't want to have to run the tractor maxed out to run a cutter. But I do need a cutter that'll withstand running through oak limb dead fall under some tall grass and brush. Anyway, the hunt continues. How is your LS rotary cutter doing? I'm sure my dealer has one but I was looking for outside options.
