Brutus to Wed!

Disclaimer: In fairness, this is a story where you might have had to been there to fully appreciate, but I thought I'd share it anyway.

My fiancee and I have finally set a date to get ourselves legal /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif. As she has been making announcements and plans for the wedding, she had her sister on the phone. They were wisecracking about how they might paint BRUTUS rather than our car "Just Married" (ha ha ha). THEN (because Brutus is so "Fugly") they insisted that any cans they attach would have to be rusty/dented cans (more ha ha ha). So, being a sport, I started to chime in and said that not only can they do the above, what "I'll" do, is when the ceremony is over, is pick up Marion in the loader bucket (8 feet wide, but that doesn't infer anything /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif). I'll slowly drive away while carrying her over our nearby hill. I'll extend my backhoe bucket behind us, slowly waving "goodbye" as I gently raise/lower the bucket.

I guess they were in a groove because they really lost it with that one.

At least I warned you with my disclaimer first.

Hi Thomas,

I think Brutus will end up just fine...our next door neighbor (my to be "uncle in law") has an old...er...mature International Harvester 444 tractor that Brutus has been eyeballing. Seems every time we go near the 444, that backhoe on Brutus just starts extending....and to to top that off, they share the same diesel cans. What ELSE can I say??

Bird and Richard,

In North Carolina there is a "Law Against Nature" statute. But it does not appear to cover certain physical activities with tractors, hydraulics or other farm equipment. Farm Animals ARE covered but not equipment! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

So maybe certain people on TBN are crazy but this behavior appears to be legal! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Course Richard's making things "legal" by getting married implies that they are living in sin WHICH is still ILLEGAL in North Carolina! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Contrats Richard and the LuckyLady! She has to be lucky since you have all the great tools...... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
