Does your manual instruct this? A guy down the road almost lost his finger to gangrene from fuel penetration trying to tighten inj line nut on running JD. If you don't have bleed screw on top of housing, leave filter loose until it overflows. Bleed supply line at pump and you should be running in 10 revs or less when cranking it. It shouldn't be necessary to crack inj lines.
