John Deere 4720 / 1953 Farmal Super A
When I changed my oil and other fluids under my L3400 I used the bucket to bring the tractor about 6 inches off the ground and then locked it off until I was finished. It seemed to help. Being new at this, was it a bad thing to do?

Nope, but might be smart to shove something under the tires once you raise the front, just in case.

Did any of the oil run away from the drain plug to where it wouldn't drain? If it didn't, there shouldn't be a problem as long as you do it safely.

Actually the oil plugs are in the back of the oil pan so I think all the oil drained. Thanks
