Ford 335
Hello, i have a 1975 Ford 335. The Tractor has a ford bucket attachment 19-532. I have gotten a lot of use out of this tractor. Yesterday i was moving a lot of dirt around. When i grab a bucket full the bucket would not hold a load. I backed up,i can raise and lower the bucket but can only curl slightly and then it drops down. Should i start with the cylinders or controls or somewhere else?

I would start by checking all the hydraulic connections that involve the bucket and its movement. Not just a visual check. Grab the hose - near each connector - give it a good shake. Good possibility that one or more have come loose.

If your hydraulic lines have quick connect fittings, disconnect, clean and reconnect the lines. With loader issues this is the best place to start.

If you can easily swap the lift/lower hoses with the curl/dump hoses swapping will tell you if the issue is cylinder or valve related.
