Anybody use one of these? Seems handy, but seem like it could damage my light weight bucket pretty Easy? Thoughts? Kubota B2920 I would be using it to pop out old bushes and dig shallow trenches.

I agree that it could damage your bucket easily. If you have a light sandy soil, you may be ok. Popping out old bushes might put lots of pressure on the bucket. Be gentle with its use if you decide to get it.

I suggest you'd be better off with a tooth bar for that usage.
A tooth bar will also strengthen the bucket lip as well since the teeth are welded onto a rugged plate and attached to the sides with 'ears'.
Typically available in the $200 range.

It's pretty pathetic compared to a backhoe, but at 10% of the price isn't to bad. Your machine might be a bit light to drive it into the ground. But if its sandy rather than our hard clay you might be fine.

My L3200 was light but got the job done. 15 minutes to dig a hole for a live 6' Christmas tree. It works on my new L4060 as well. I got the pallet fork mount one rather than bucket mount. Better visibillity.IMG_20131224_130200.jpg

IMG_6710.JPG couldn’t pass it up for $75 bucks. Now to figure out the best way to secure it’s my bucket safely. Just gonna ease into it to see how it does.

I have one. I don't use it much. Hard to trench with. It digs nice hole to plant a tree in. It is really hard to see what you are doing due to the bucket being in your way. I have not had any problem with bucket damage but I could see it happening.

Oh, and don't back drag with one on your forks (or bucket). Massive leverage there in not good ways. I got lucky & it was my fork popping loose from the frame rather than bending my curl cylinders. Others haven't been so lucky. I heat & beat the slightly bent bottom of the pallet fork frame back in shape with no real cost to repair. Back dragging with a steep angle on your bucket/forks puts a LOT of load on the curl cylinders in compression, where they are relatively weak.

Visibility sucks. Dumping spoils sucks. Not bouncing dirt out of the spade is difficult. But at $75 or my $150 it beats the **** out of a real shovel, especially with my bad back.

Any pictures on how you hooked it up? I think I need to go get a section of chain and a binder?
