@bazman82 if you have the space on the tractor, I would use the ROPS - no attachment but make the board straddle and lock to the ROPS to keep the board from sliding side to side and sliding to the back. Then use the ratchet straps and lock the front of the board to the ROPS, keeping it tight to the ROPS on each side. Last, find a way to keep the board from bouncing. Maybe you can rig a ratchet strap to lock it down behind the seat.

To keep the kid from rolling back, there ought to be a seat back of some kind.

As said, the UTV seat is intended to move hunters around the property. It is removeable because that machine gets a lot of run time. 210 acres means getting places and the tractor is only one solution. We need that bed to haul stuff with us.

Kids are precious cargo. Keeping them inside the ROPS would be a priority to me. Giving them handles to hold and seat belts would also be priority.
