Budget 18k. Snow removal and mowing

It looks like you are having fun with this exploration. It is good to look at lots of options. Have you used a walk behind snowblower much before. I have one that doesn't get much use anymore since I got bigger equipment. I loved it when that's all I had. Now, I just remember that it was quite an upper body workout - especially with big snow.

Before you finally decide, I do think it would be worth taking a look at Kubota. Like I said, I was impressed with my neighbor's Kubota GR2120, and that front mount snowblower is slick. I like the folks at North Branch, but the Kubota dealer in Baldwin isn't that far away for a test drive.

Baldwin is just down the road. It's just that implement dealer just north baldwin right? I'll swing by hopefully today before John Deere.

I'm still a young buck so the workout would be fine for another decade or 2. By then I can buy the tractor and the loader and the blower plus whatever else fun I can think of.

I'm open to other brands, I'll just need to give them a shot and test drive a few.

I would agree mine is a work out. the honda tracked unit with zero effort steering is a different animal. Dont even have to lift up on the handles to keep downforce on the scrapper edge

Have you ever blown snow in the middle of the night with a 40 mph wind in your face ? I would look for a Deere X series with at least a removable enclosure and front mount blower . Then again I am 60 years old .

So un update. The salesmen at the dealer told me to go for the 1025r 60 7iron 54 inch blower and not look back. I went ahead and test drove the z960m and x758 and again the 1025r.

I think I will regret getting a walk behind. I can see it now December 24th 8 inches of snow...better pull out the walk behind. haha

But how do I get it in my budget? 18k for 1025r 60" deck with 54 inch snow blower.

Try a different brand. I think if you pass on the loader of a machine capable of it you may regret it.

In 2004 I bought a 2210 with the 62c mmm, loader and front snow blower along with a heated Curtis cab. If I had to do it again the only change would be a backhoe. I have 2.5 acres and a 200ft driveway. I looked hard at a 4110 at the time but it wouldn't fit under a 7' OHD with the cab.
