Here are some pics of the parts i have cut out. I will post more when it is welded and then painted. The steel i had kicking around but i had to buy the receiver from napa.

Good start so far.

Before you weld it together you want to make sure the vertical part for your top link to hook to is the correct length.

Ideally you want your top link to run paralled with the lower arms so when you raise and lower the 3ph, the hitch stays level.

So if you measure where you're top link hooks to the tractor down to where the lower arms hook to the tractor, you want that measurement to be the same on your hitch.

This is the best pic i have to try to explain it. A should be the same as B

After I posted that pic Got me thinking...I hope the safety police dont come after me. Beer on the hood, Disabled seat swith, removed ROPS, etc.

After building several over the years, here is one of the most useful designs I came up with after input from a dozen or so users. This was mostly built from scrap and cost me about $20. All that is missing from the final build is the adjustable chain that attaches to the draw bar and prevents the hitch from raising up if you are going down a hill or stop suddenly.

I copied the grader i just built, which i guessed at and it came out right. But i did not know that is how it should be ,thanks for the info.
