I ended up going with 6" blocks to support the floor trusses. My roof trussed will also rest on the side walls. I widened the footer for more support on the house side. I have rebar every 4 foots stuck in the footer with epoxy. I will grout the wall once all the blocks are laid. I am going to put 2 coats of foundation coating on the below grade walls. What would be a good product to put on the walls once the foundation coating dries that would protect the coating from the dirt?

I found out that I like laying 10" block better than the 6" block. It is easier to level a 10" inch block than a 6" block. I would have thought 6" would be easier due to the lighter weight, but they are a pain to level. They are too narrow.
