Building a set of forks for LA524

I strap my homemade forks onto my bucket with chain and binders
No tools or drilling required
I posted the build summary last year or so
I used pallet racking from scrap cost about 20 or so in total if I remember right

I made a set of brush forks for my old B7300 out of 2" scrap pipe and angle I had laying around. I can still use them on my B3300 but they won't be as wide as the new bucket (wouldn't really matter I guess). I took a 4' long section of 3x5 angle and placed the 5" web laying flat across the cutting edge of the bucket and cut 3 notches in the part that hung down. I welded 3 ~ 6 foot sections of pipe in the notches. The pipe went under the bucket to brace against the back edge. I then welded a short section of chain to the angle at each end and drilled a hole at each end of the bucket where I put a bolt through the chain to hold the forks in place when I dumped. I moved a lot of brush and small logs with those forks. The angle helped reinforce the bucket edge to keep it from getting bent.

However, I was limited in the amount of weight I could pick up. That's why I decided to make a carrier and forks that would replace the bucket when I need forks.
