The toolbox that was standard on my Bobcat CT225 was just slightly north of useless. Seriously, what was the point of that plastic afterthought? I could barely fit linch pins in it, much less any necessary tools. After rummaging around in the shop, I found just what I needed to remedy the situation and have some useful storage. For less than $7 in hardware and an hour or so of cutting, gluing, and screwing, I have a real toolbox.

The original "toolbox"

Barely bigger than a glove...(perhaps it was really a glovebox)

20x10x10

A small section for pins, etc., plenty of room for a chain or two and necessary tools.

I'll probably paint it either white or black...and there is room to mount a SMV triangle

It will look better with a coat of paint.

My gosh, something even smaller than the almost useless one Kubota puts on their tractors!

Yes, I've been very tempted to mount a real toolbox on my tractor. Good job.

Yeah, the tool box on my NH Boomer 3050 is actually smaller than the one on you bobcat and made out of flimsy, thin plastic. To add insult to the situation my NH manual says it's supposed to be stored in the tool box. I can just see some unwitting newbie try to roll his manual into a tight circle and stuff it into a box that is not even water tight. It would ruin the manual and there would not even be any spare room for one lynch pin. Though I love the performance of my 3050 Boomer there are other odd things about it where one wonders if the engineers and designers have ever driven a tractor.

You shouldn't have any complaints now. Plenty of room. Nice work.

I think, judging from the size of that thing, it would be more appropriate to refer to it as a trunk, rather than a tool box.

You should send that last photo to the company and tell them that's what a real toolbox looks like.

I am more coming to believe that those are glove boxes Kubota puts on their tractors, not tool boxes!

Looking good!

Enough room back there for a box with drawers.
