That looks like a usable sized box and it looks good, but it too is not waterproof so some drain holes in the bottom might be in order. I put one about that size (18 L x 8W x10D)on my LS (it didn't have anything) but I bought the plastic waterproof tool box at my local farm and ranch for $15. It is large enough to hold a 15" adjustable wrench, hammer and other tools. I took off the steps from the right side since I don't use them anyway and fabricated a bracket to hold the tool box. After assessing the tractor for locations, this was the only place that was suitable for accessibility and high enough of the ground to prevent damage to the box. I built the bracket so the top of the box is just below the cab door. I couldn't put it behind the cab like yours as there it would interfere with top link and prevent sight from seat to the rear of the tractor implements

I also mounted a tool box on my B26 using the bracket for the SLV which was welded on to the FOPS rear post. Using that and some self tapping screws I built a bracket that mounted there securely without welding directly on the FOPS support. It worked perfect and is just the right height to be able to look inside for an item. It will hold about 3 bottles of water + tow strap, some extra snap pins, gloves,10" adjustable wrench and channel lock pliers. I don't find that I need anymore space for other tools. If it requires more than that, I return to the shop for repairs.
