I've always wanted a dirt track (and paved one for that matter...lol) and got it done last week. Only took 17.5hrs of dozer time with a John Deere 700J LGP with an experienced operator (ie not me). Used a 3 acre field to get 2200 ft of track winding thru it with jumps and banked corners. Turned out great but honestly its hard to capture with picture or video even without contrast between the track and surrounding ground. More videos to come.

Pretty sweet. We have a bit of a track on the acreage here, managed to use the existing topography for variation. We are seriously lacking berms though. Got a skid steer late last fall so they're coming in the near future. Looking forward to the next video.

I knew a guy from work that also built a dirt bike and ATV track. His homeowners insurance company told him that only family could use the track and they would drop him if friends used it. It is something to check into.

That was quick... I close the tab of ALL videos as soon as they ask me to subscribe. DUH, If your "audience" is that stupid that you need to tell them that... your video is not for me.

I know of a couple tracks like that that took a lot of work and were very nice. Then the very real possibility of lawsuits forced them to change them into a flat field. Nice work though.

I made a small course around the back 3 acres of my place a couple years back. I had one hill I made in it but it turned out to be too much trouble to maintain the vegetation on so I eventually leveled it. We started out with a Coleman gokart and this year I bought a VW sand rail to play with.

Thanks for your feedback. I don't disagree with you but also it's the way youtube works. It's a lot of work to make videos and the only way to get any return on the work is by having subscribers, views, watch hours, etc. However it doesn't hurt my feelings one bit for you to close the tab. Don't hate the player, hate the game. Take care!

I assume you're speaking of people that opened it for others to use? Business or not? It's my own track so I dont plan on suing myself anytime soon.
