Hi Guys
The game preserve is going very well and I am thinking of building a club house for my hunters after hunts. No lodging just a place to eat, warm up and talk. Will have electric, water in summer, setup will kind of be like a lodge a little kitchen with some cabinets sink, ref. 4 or 5 picnic tables
a sofa some chairs and wood stove. I was thinking of starting with a portable run in shed. I do not want anything on a slab, I am going to place it in my parking lot. Which was filled in with stonewall fence so I am not keen about try to set posts in the ground for pole barn. I thought about a 2 car garage but do not know where to get prefabs without big doors. I could do with a 24 X24 or 12 X 35. I will place a porch and an overhang on one side. I thought it might easier to star with some thing then start from scratch.
I will insulate and place board over inside to finish. Will have some electrical outlets but not alot. Does anybody make anything pre fab that is not
really expensive. What I would really like is a 24 x 24 shell, with a wooden floor. Any thoughts or would be welcome.

I would recommend a Klene Pipe building. If you have a level area the pipe frames are easy to assemble and get square and plumb. The basic building module is a 12' x 24' run in type shed. If you put two of these facing one another you can have a building with a center peak roof. Tabs are welded on the pipes that you connect 2x4 lumber to use as nailers to attach exterior and interior siding. You can add whatever kind of siding and roofing, door, and windows you want to put in it. My wife and I were able to build a 36' x 36' horse barn using one of their frame kits.

Existing Building Additions from Klene Pipe for portable barns, pole barn kits, run in sheds, loafing shed, diy pole barns, diy barn kit, pole barn packages, modular barn, horse barn kits, portable horse shelter, and more

If you are ANYWHERE near an AMISH community you owe it to yourself to go there and talk to some of the carpenters. They can come to you (a few hundred miles if necessary) and they can build you a BEAUTIFUL rustic wood clubhouse, giving you exactly what you want for a fraction of the cost you would pay anywhere else. I have two Amish built barns and have seen some of their log cabins and they are FANTASTIC and inexpensive.

Here is an example of the Amish builder near me. These are CABINS but you can have them build any style you want. For example this cabin is 24 X 30 and costs $15,500. Of course the small one is much less.

Imagine your guests sitting on that Porch!! If you are anywhere near them, go talk and see what they can do within your budget.

I'll take one.

Hope the varmits stay away from under the porch...

There is a model home near me similar to this, but probably only 50% of the size for $15,000 - $20,000 as a shell package only.

That house shell is a steal for that price.

This guy is over by Richland Center, WI but there are quite a few around, in Cashton, Hillsboro, Sparta, WI. I thought it was REAL nice. I thought I had a picture of the small kitchen, he made cabinets from t-g carsiding. BEAUTIFUL. Notice the inside/outside wood storage inside the stairway?

I'd go to Home Depot and Lowes to see what they have. A few months ago, the local Home Depot had a big sale on all their buildings in the parking lot for less then the price of the lumber in them. Getting them moved from the parking lot to where you wanted it was the challenge.

Some of their buildings were done very nicely. Some are junk. For cheap square footage, they are pretty tought to beat.

Have a high school / vocational school near by? You may get some free labor and let them build it as a class/school.

I did.

Those Amish rigs are out of sight. Wish I had some Amish/Mennonite communities around me.............I'd live in one of those things and be content as all heck.

How long does it take them to build one of these? The larger one in the pics for example....

I've seen a team (family relations) crank one out in a couple of weeks if the weather is good. A month is more likely.
