Building our land leveler

I experimented with mine by welding on rebar pieces at 6" intervals on the front blade . Started with 1/2" rebar and even though it only stuck down past the blade by 1" if blade was even with bottom of leveler , the , what became obvious to me afterwards , amount of pressure applied to that rebar was substantial . :confused3: I eventually used a grinder and cut-off wheel to remove them as most had been bent into a " J " shape . I didn't see really any improvement in how it broke up any hard areas , thus gave up on the idea . I figured if I really needed to rip a area , I would just hook to my home made ripper I made and let it break a area up . Although only 6' wide rather than 7' , it has 8 16" ripper shanks that work pretty good .

Yours looks awesome . Never got around to painting mine . Great work

I have enough 1/2" metal left I thought about welding ripper brackets to the back of the front 4"x6" brace. But with how it pulled up gravel from this hard packed road i don't think I'll worry with it now. Probably the worst it will see. But I will say it might would come in handy in places with alot of grass growing, it did try to clog up the material from flowing a few times.

About the paint, appreciate it. If I didn't do it now I never would. Lol
