went to get it repaired at a tire shop.. they said it was unrepairable and said they have one in stock [pretty sure it was repairable they just make more off selling me a new one ] i poked a hold in the bubble and it was under the pressure of the tire as it was leaking everywhere so just poping it wasnt gonna fix it.. $600 out the crapper
Since the pressure in the bubble comes from inside the tire what made you think piercing the bubble would help????? Why wouldn't a tube & boot have kept it going? MikeD74T
I agree, a tube and boot would have fixed it for about $75 or so. Too late now. I would also consider changing the other rear. I know its not 100% necessary but having matching tires and tread depth is the best way to go.
