Thought I'd share some pics of y kubota buried in the mud.
Got home from work last night (I get home at 8PM) and wanted to get to a small section of my property that is really close to a mud pit to do some grading and get some grass seed planted before we get rain this week.
Now this "mud pit" is actually a ditchway for the overflow of my pond I just had dug last summer. I am having a heck of a time getting this black clay to dry out to be able to do anything with it
Anyway, in an attempt to get it to dry out some, last week, I laid a 4" tile in this ditch, and topped with some dirt (black clay) that was left over. The goal is, instead of a ditch, I will have more of a shallow swail to carry water away during heavy rain, but with tile under it, it will dry out and be passable with the mower instead of a deep ditch.
Anyway, I got a little too close and "slid" in. I am sure others know how it is to be stuck in a ditch and being able to go forward and back 20' but unable to get out. :mur: And only getting stuck deeper.
I gave up last night but got out tonight no problems and was able to finish what I wanted to do last night. Thank God it didnt rain today cause where I could pull from (only place to get to with anything) is also black clay. Even a tiny bit of rain turns that stuff to smeary gooey muck.
Enjoy my frustrating ordeal:laughing:
