yea, it "never" looks muddy. I kid you not, this stuff is like modeling clay.

I know that stuff, sticks in your treads and turns the tire into a slick.

That is stuck good. Glad you were able to get her out without too much difficulty. I really dislike when that happens and whenever I get into stuff and the tractor starts sinking, my heart starts to race and all I want to do is get the heck out of there. Thankfully I have not had your experience for many years and I hope never to have another!

You just need to bump up the HP by about 10X so you can spin them fast enough so they clean out.

I do have to admire your determination. It took me a while to figure out when I was really and truly stuck. A mark in the sand so to speak. When the the cooling fan blades for the radiator start slinging mud in my face is my time to admit to the agony of defeat.

Oh heck, for fun, search youtube for "stuck tractor" . For more fun, look for "stuck excavator" or "stuck dozer". You don't pull those things out with a pickup truck, especially when the mud is up to the top of the exhaust pipe!

You had the sense to stop when you did. That's a good thing. It would be very easy for that tractor to just do a slow roll on it's side if you just kept trying to drive it out, with it burying down. Trying to walk it out backwards with the bucket works sometimes. But your implement up would still have caught in the mud.

I have done that, too. I always carry lots of chain and a come along. And hopefully a tree close enough nearby.

Did something like that (not quite as buried) with my RTV1100...I truly feel your pain....I didn't take pictures because I didn't want to remember.

Re: Buried my Kubota in the mud last night. Pics , A BH would help.

With a weighted L39 (8200Lbs) the tiny tires like to get stuck in anything soft. The 10' BH has saved a lot of money avoiding having to pay to get the machine out of some sticky situations.

Yea, this is one time it would have been nice to have a BH on there, so I could pick the back up and swing it out of the hole.

But then again, I wouldnt have been going back there to do some "grading" with a BH on:laughing:
