Burned BX

I have a co-worker who had their BX24 consumed in an outdoor fire this week. I bought a used BX a month or two ago that is a nice low hour tractor, but has a bent FEL bucket (clamp on forks) and a dented dipper on the backhoe.

Co-worker is getting a new BX25 from the insurance company, so I am chatting with them about taking the backhoe and FEL bucket and swapping them to my 24. The arms of the FEL are charred (around the engine) and the controls on the BH have a little bit if heat damage, but paint is not touched on the FEL bucket or the rest of the BH.

I know that the hydraullics are gone, but does anyone see an issue with swapping out the parts I want to upgrade my BX and even having a couple of spares around. The cylinders may even be servicable if rebuilt as the fire consumed the tractor, but didn't seem to get hot at the FEL and BH.

I think the buckets should be fine as long as the paint is undamaged.
I might even consider buying the whole tractor if you could..

Some stuff like the wheels may be salvageable too!
