Burning used Kubota UDT??

I recently was over at my neighbors when he was starting his burn pile. It was raining and i thought he would never keep it going. He used a back pack sprayer with diesel fuel and just walked the flame all the way around the pile. I was surprised that the flame did not follow its way back to the sprayer.

Yeah, my neighbor showed me that one using a two gallon spray can with 10 parts diesel to 1 part gasoline. Works real well. He said he started with gasoline and it climbed up the spray toward him way too fast.

I bought a 1 gallon sprayer specifically for starting my brush pile.
I use about 1/3 used motor oil 1/3 gas and 1/3 diesel.

Do Not soak the brush pile before lighting it. Light a small piece of something first then spray it to spread the fire. If you soak it you let fumes build up and you wouldn't believe the explosion you can get.

But that takes the fun out of it!! Of course with a fire going first, it can trail up to your gas can!! DAMHIKT!!

I've burnt it but started using it as bar oil in my chainsaw its great in the winter when you cant even pour the bar oil it pours freely

Be careful of that, bar oil has a better sticking ability than regular oil. Sprockets, bars and chains suffer when regular oil is used.
