Burst my bubble at the dealership

When I bought my TC-40D I went to the dealer, told him the options I wanted, got my price, and then was also told that the dealer would need to locate my tractor as he didn't have it in stock. I choose to wait for the tractor that I wanted. Ended up coming in from another dealer.

I could have gotten bent out of shape, and I could have gone to a different dealer or a different color tractor for that matter. Those were my choices to make. As it was I did get the tractor that I wanted and it only took a little patience. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think you should cut the dealer some slack.

Here's the latest:

I got a call early this morning and they've located a 4710 in the neighboring county. It's on the way to my selling dealer to have my goodies installed, and I'm to contact them at my convenience to set up paperwork and delivery! It'll probably be ready for me before I'm ready for it, what with work and all. Maybe it's time for a couple of personal days /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'll keep the details coming and I'll post in the JD section when I take delivery!

A small footnote: I left no deposit Saturday and was told there was no need. When I inquired today about what they needed to insure my intentions I was told something to the effect: "If you say you're gonna buy this tractor, that's all I need. I'll ship it in".
