I have a Bush Hog brand loader that I had installed on my tractor last year. It came with a bucket and I bought a hay spear that fit and modified it to make a fork lift attachment. During the install, I had the third function valve and plumbing installed as well. I want to buy a grapple, but when I e-mailed Markham, they do not make a grapple to mate up to this brand. They can sell me the basic unit and I would have to make the adapter for it.

My question is: Is there some company that makes the adapter kit ready to weld on, or will I have to fabricate the whole thing?

Thanks for the help

Can you post some pictures? The bucket/forks are pinned onto the loader?

Here are some pictures of what I have now. My bucket and pallet forks attach like a skid steer, but have a completely different attachment arrangement.

I don't have a recent picture of the bucket modifications I had to make. Obviously, the bucket was not a factory one. I had to modify it further to have a snug fit to the loader. The picture of the hay fork gives a good picture of the type of hook-up I have to have for the Bush Hog brand loader.

Interesting, I have never seen a QA system like that! Is that Bushhogs proprietary or homemade?

Anyway, my gut feeling is your going to have to order the grapple from Mellisa with a plain back and fabricate the mounts yourself.

Armstrong Ag sells the Bush Hog style quick attach brackets.

Thanks guys! I thought I had read somewhere on this forum that the weld on brakets were available.

And yes, that is how the Bush Hog brand QA is set up. Very easy to change out an implement in about a minute or less.

With my 70 hp tractor, I still may go with a light duty grapple with extra tines in the bottom.

Thanks again.
