I recently had a disappointing experience and that I brought my tractor in for service after owning it for 15 years – and asked that it be checked over and serviced. I had it in there for servicing several years back When I called my long time Kubota DEAwas it the PTO or HST Part? - what other shaft could be since there was no belly mower on it the seal was gone, the engine had to be split from the shaft and it was gonna cost $3800. There were NO symptoms no overheating no loss of RPMs when I brought the tractor in mostly for the installation of a third function hydraulic set up. While I was there I requested a basic service and a few lenses and pedal rubbers.
When I got the tractor back AFTER I had paid for the third function hydraulic to be installed, the bill was $4300 There was a new headlight lens in the front for $240, new pivot for forward and reverse pedal, and a number of other new things, but the lenses I wanted changed we're not touched. I've always had good luck with these Service people and choose to go further away because they deal with more full-time farmers, but since I last were there, they were acquired by a larger corporate outfit. Anyhow, I feel like I've been taking advantage of and if there was poor communication. That's my whine.
But now that I have to earn the money again for a thumb grapple I was wondering if maybe they could help me figure out which thumb or grapple could go on the B 7510 and if anybody had any recommendations.
Thanks so much
