Though one can adapt a cat 2 to a cat 1 tractor I would think the hog might be able to do damage to the tractor more likely that tractor doing damage to hog, (slip-clutch burn out might be exception). So i'd be careful to try to control the hog's use via the tractor's capabilities rather than letting the hog whip the tractor's butt. Grease everything, especially your PTO shaft joints and shaft to shaft coupling.
