I have an older model bushhog squealer SQ60. I have managed to bend up the a-frame assembly (Homer Simpson moment). I have gotten the two side pieces that mount to the deck and top link straightened back to original shape, but I have broken the support piece that ties those two pieces together and provides additional mount support for the lift pins.

I have searched for just that piece and cant seem to find it. I have found A frame weldments that appear to be updated versions? for the more experienced on the web site, I am not good enough to weld the piece back together and my fabrication skills have not yet transferred to heavy metal.

anyone have a source for this "crossmember'?.

thanks,

If you have no luck with a replacement part then perhaps taking in your pieces to a local welding shop or perhaps a machine shop might be a option. They could use what you have for a pattern.

You could just grab some steel at tractor Supply. You can cut it with a grinder and metal blade and bend it in a vise. You said you don't weld, so just drill and attach with bolts.

Pictures would probably help. Yeah, we want to see the results of the "homer" moment lol.
