Bush hog mower on a JD iMatch

I bought the iMatch for my 4730 and have it hooked up to a 6 foot bush hog. The top link articulates so you dont hang up in rolling areas mowing. But with imatch it just pops the top link hook off. I am missing something or am confused ..it happens at my age. What is the solution? ! Can do photos later if needed

bush hog may have a kit for use with a quick coupler,
have you checked with the mower dealer?

Top link on iMatch is adjustable. I have it at highest point. I should check with Bushhog as well. Maybe someone here has had the issue?

By your description it sounds like you need an adapter for a floating toplink like on page 15.

Bingo...I think!!.. I have contacted Bushhog and already have them on this. FYI People bash manufacturers all the time and when one hits one to of the park we should say so...I left a Facebook question to Bushhod last night at like 730pm (Saturday) By 800pm I had a response...and i think thats eastern time where they are....amazing customer service Thank you mr Deerherd

You get your "float" from the QH pins being in the same plane. All the adapters do is convert non standard implements to the correct standard and you will just bend the yokes on your cutter using the adapter in short order. When buying any cutter, realize set up is different for a QH and let your dealer know you have/intend to use it on a QH. Good luck!
