Rotary Cutter Bush Hog & Price?

I am new to owning a tractor and will likely be picking up a new Kubota L4240. I am thinking about buying a bush hog to clear a couple acres of weeds and brush, and then to mow the pasture area once it is cleared (maybe once or twice a month?). I know there can be a difference in build quality, but what should I get for my level of use? I am guessing 5-6 foot.

I have seen a rough used one for $400, new one at Tractor Supply for $800-1000, and Kubota dealer wants $1900 for a new 6' Woods rotary cutter or $1500 for a used Woods 990 hybrid cutter. I usually lean toward buying the better stuff, but I can't see spending $2000 instead of $1000 if I don't need to.

For the most part you get what you pay for in rotary cutters. But it depends on how much you use it and how heavy duty it's use will be. If that price of 1500 is correct for the 990 that's a steal. I would drive to New Jersey to pick that up.

Edited the OP...the Woods 990 is used. The dealer has a customer whose husband passed away and they will be selling the Woods 990 for $1500 and a box scraper for $300. Maybe I should buy both of them if they look good...?
