Bush-hogging in the fall

I truly believe that on a given day in Oct. there is not a better place to be that circling a field with a bush-hog. I spent the last two days doing it and am recharged for a while. First use of my new equimpment and it works great. I took a pic and am trying out that part of the post.

Although bush hogging makes me think too much, it allows me to enjoy the cool dry weather, wildlife, and fall flowers scattered across my fields. There's nothing like sitting a new tractor and feeling it out, especially when the weather is good.

Just came in, couldn't agree with you more about the time of year /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Besides mowing, there's also aerating the lawn, raking the drive...

very very nice pic. but have u noticed that the reds are not as vibant as uslual? at least around here they are kind of dull. mostly yellow and brown, seems like a strange fall, but i still love it.
