bush hogs

I don't know how everyone else feels, but mjncad has a sweet sprayer. Sorry to get off topic but I couldn't help it. My sprayer is home built with a wooden skid as a frame with a carry all to attach to my JD790. The hose reel is something I was entertaining and will scour the local Harbor Freight for ine tomorrow.

MJNCAD - do you have too much time on your hands?????? What a cool sprayer setup.

Thanks Jeff. I don't know if it's too much time on my hands or what since I always seem to have more projects in mind than ones completed. I still need to make more modifications before next spring's weed spraying ritual.

Metric marked 8.8 bolts are equivalent to Grade 5 for SAE marked bolts. These should be more than adequate for shear bolts.
I have never sheared a bolt in my Howse and many times I have hit the dirt and stalled my tractor completely. My gear case is rated for much higher than my 40 PTO hp if I remember right I believe the owners manual said 65 or 70 HP so I guess that is why

Is that a good thing? I would think you would want to shear a pin before stalling your tractor.
