BushHog Brand Land Plane/Leveler?

Bush hog brand makes good stuff. Have their HD grader blade, rotary cutter, etc. Since buying EA land plane haven’t hooked to the grader blade or yardbox and my 1/2 mile driveway hasn’t been better. Some cheaper land planes don’t angle the blades as much. That angle is what makes it work as well. The driveway maintained with land plane is more durable and longer lasting while taking a fraction of the time and money. The construction, weight and angle of the blades is what I would compare. 48 years maintaining same driveway.

Now you have me thinking..... Sometimes not a good idea, but not always bad..

Kind of a left handed fit to this thread.. We bought a China made 5' box blade from our local auto, farm store on sale.. For frequency of use, price, availability, what it capable of doing, it has been a good choice for us..

With that in mind, I'm thinking how to add another blade of some kind to the front edge of the box blade to make it perform more like a grader, land plane when that is needed. My thinking being for a lot less money than a dedicated implement, I can fabricate a bolt on to the box blade that will work OK... Maybe a bolt on inverted length of heavy angle iron with a small skid shoe on either end, if needed. I'm thinking some experimenting with the length of the top link will make this useful.

I'm makes sense to me to have multi use implements, with or without small additions, rather than a long row of expensive dedicated implements.

Anyone tried this, thought about it, seen it ??
