A properly installed PTO shield hides the fact that the PTO shaft and blades are still spinning (after PTO has been turned off) and causes a INCREASED DANGER of someone being injured by the still spinning blades.
Pick your poison.
foolish notion....
1, assume spinning untill verified not.
2, i don't own a piece of pto equipment that i cant see slightly past the shield shroud, and thus be able to tell that the mechanism is still spinning down.
3, treat all pto mechanisms like they are spinning untill verified. IE.. don't hop off your mower and go stick your arm under the mower, use common sense FIRST...
