You can also use a mix of gear oil and grease. This is keeping lube in the front axle of my kubota until I have time to fix the seal.

Lucas hub oil helps weakening seals in trailer hubs. I carry it in my trailer toolbox and use it here and there. I have used the John Deere corn head grease in leaky gear boxes with success.

Where you at in S.MD and WV? I pass through there to take my daughter to Ohio U. pretty often.
