Bushy's 110

Re: Bushy\'s 110

Joe,and anyone else that is interested,
It's funny how things work....I went to a search engine last night and typed in "110 tlb" about 20 matches came back, one of them was a dealer in Exiter,Ontario called Huron Tractor.I figured that if a dealer has the 110 on their website, they are impressed by it and want people to see it,anyway I took their number and gave em' a call today about a cab,the guy I spoke with was very knowledgeable about the cab and said he had already sold one,and was waiting for it to be delivered any day now.He had the pricing right in front of him,he proceeded to tell me it cost $6850......Canadian dollars, but only $4450 in US dollars,I'm not sure how all that stuff with the exchange in money works, but I like it.He said they could direct ship it to me and with shipping the total cost to my door would be $4700.He said that Laurin has already sold the first series of 110 cabs(they make about a dozen at a time)and that they will be producing more in two weeks,I could expect to see one around December 15th,so I talked to my business partner(wife) and I'm gettin' a cab.

There is a currency converter site http://www.oanda.com that shows current values of various moneies. Sounds like a pretty good price. I plugged your 6850 in to converter it came out 4382.60. Using a credit card it is done for you at the current rate. Bushy

Re: Bushy\'s 110

Hey Tags, excuse my ignorance here as perhaps its a West coast mentality, but why do you want a cab? Is it becasue of your geographic location, you know snow, cold type of stuff? I was just wondering because not many folks opt for one out here and when they do, it may have as much to do with having AC for summer then protection from winters elements. On the construction jobs, some of the industrial hoe guys had cabs since we worked year round unless it was raining, then we just shut down for the day start back up the next if the rain had subsided. Landscaping pretty much comes to a halt after December until about March, our dominate rain period, so during those months, folks won't be using equipment much. Good luck with the addition to the tractor, Rat...

Re: Bushy\'s 110

What are you guys,....my mother?/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gifThe deal is this,I do alot of plowing, some residential and some commercial,I plow a couple of those self storage places and its a real ***** to get the snow out from in between all those units, right now I'm making one of those big snow scoops out of an old plow and am mounting it to a quick tach plate, but am looking for some info on 3 point hitch blowers,if anyone has any info, fess up.Also the cab will be nice from October thru December,I still do quite a bit of raking for sod installations, and general hoe use,at least till the ground freezes solid.Hope this is good enough reasoning for you guys, and I'm sure I'll hear if its not!/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Re: Bushy\'s 110

If it helps any, you should have a cab if you want one. /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
Down south, folks get them to keep out the bugs in summer, and the cold in winter. You left coasters don't know what bugs are. LOL

Re: Bushy\'s 110

Tags,

I have done a fair amount of blowing and research. Mostly front mount. But Ive led some fiends to rear blowers and they like them. Lofness.com is a leader I believe. I actually was hoping to blow off the front of the 11o, but the hydraulics are way too weak. Now I am thinking of a V plow and a sander. Congrats on the cab. I want one in the worst way, But my busness pardner just zeroed in on Bushy's post. What fur? I'm goin to sent her out after a storm to feel that cold north wind!

Re: Bushy\'s 110

If I was working my tractor all the time I sure would want a cab. The young man who does lots of work for me , well not so much anymore since I have the 110, has 2 Kubotas tractors and a small Hitachi excavator and they all have cabs with ac and stereo.. If you work equipment year round in Maine you have to make yourself comfortable or your body well let you know. This is the 21 century we have the technology, why freeze or suffocate when you don't have to. Hey, I should be getting one of those cabs. I'll first have to get the aproval from the CEO . I think she may have other plans though. I hope it's a warm winter. happened . By the way Erskine does make a 6' blower that will work on the 110. It requires as little as 11 GPM in hydraulic flow.

Re: Bushy\'s 110

Bushy, I figured as much. Your response seemed to have a bit of sattire to it. I guess I just chalk it up to being a West coaster. You guys way over there have a whole different set of experiences. I do have a place in Tahoe, it gets plenty of snow. We sub out the snow removal though, it takes big equipment to keep up when you don't live there to remove it as it falls. Go get those cabs, Rat...

Heres a shot of our place after a snow storm. You can just make out the pickup truck rack in the lower left corner
