He recently bought a JD, I believe it was a 270 skid steer that had seen a hard life in a quarry. Proably got it pretty cheap. Took it to a JD dealer to get them to go over it and make it right. Normally he has his part time mechanics do this kind of thing, but he thought, just give it to JD, how bad can it be? Well thirteen thousand dollars later! And the kicker is that after they delivered it, the next morning the thing didn't start! He settled with them at some HIGHLY reduced amount!
Knowing this man, has shattered the dream I always had of owning "Heavy Iron" but I have to concede I am gratefull!
