Kubota MX5800
Kubota MX5800 w/ EA grapple, lifted a lg. log today & she wouldn't curl. Lifted her straight up & carried the log to the truck & tried to curl once more & blew 2 hyd lines. They both split in the same place, about an inch from where they attach just below my 3rd function valve. Had 2 new lines made & I'm back operational but I noticed the stock 3/8" Kubota lines were 3,000 psi while the Titan lines that came w/ my WR Long 3rd function valve are 5,000 psi. Do any of you upgrade your hydro lines? Everything on the tractor is in 100% condition - no rubbing, fraying, or worn lines but I'm surprised they both blew... No shock load on that log but I would assume that could do it also? I'm guessing just too much weight, it was the 1st thing I've picked up that I couldn't curl.

Very common on OEM hoses being 1-wire braid hose, while it’s fine for the mfg rating in a perfect world most hose failures happen at its weakest point, whether it be at a bend or a section that wears.
Most replacement custom hoses we see are 2-wire construction, in some eyes it maybe overkill but the 2-wire braid gives the extra reinforcement for longer life.
I always suggest to use the better quality high pressure hose.

Always replace with two wire. With grapple can easily reach 5000psi by lifting, curling and driving forward.
