Thanks for asking. I hope your are in good health.
In the morning my shoulder sounds like broken bones crunching, stiff and painful. I can lift 5 Lbs. over my head. I can dead lift. Hard to use a chainsaw. Slowly gaining strength. Doubtful I will be motorcycling this this year. Questioning if I should shoot some 30-06?

Sounds like you're getting better, but it's going slowly. I used to think that my 30-06 had a lot of kick to it, but then I bought a 338 mag, and after shooting it, I changed my mind on the 30-06.

Friend has both a .338 Norma Mag and .338 Lapua Magnum. My Cals are .22LR, 9x19mm, 5.56x45mm, .300 Blackout, 7.62x39, 30-06, and 12 Ga.

Sure don't remember farm work being so hard.

May is the rough tough work month as the temperatures are lower. May flies are fierce, but June and summer the Mosquitos suck blood. Clearing a 1/2 more acre in the NH rocky hilly woods is tough. I will use the area to shoot shotgun and semi auto rifle as it is further form house & neighbors being a bit quieter. Gunfire & chainsaw does not seem to bother cows?

Other work was scraping out the paddock, laying two Triaxle load of clay sand, 400 bales of hay, and 4 Cord of firewood.

Have about 4-1/2 Acres of Pasture. It took some real terra forming to create it. Wonder how many thousands of yards of material have been moved?

My place isn't as tough as yours, but I understand a little bit of what you're doing. I've been clearing my land for the last 20 years. It's slow going, but every year, it gets a little better then the year before.

Well all the machines are out of the woods and more or less serviced. If new this equipment the replacement would run over 1/2 million dollars. I lived at right time for this working class fool to be able to swing this lifestyle. It is a real struggle now being "retired"
My L39 Kubota has 2600 hard hours, never once removed the Backhoe, as on our little place the Mahindra is all I need.
