Sounds like you're getting better, but it's going slowly. I used to think that my 30-06 had a lot of kick to it, but then I bought a 338 mag, and after shooting it, I changed my mind on the 30-06.
May is the rough tough work month as the temperatures are lower. May flies are fierce, but June and summer the Mosquitos suck blood. Clearing a 1/2 more acre in the NH rocky hilly woods is tough. I will use the area to shoot shotgun and semi auto rifle as it is further form house & neighbors being a bit quieter. Gunfire & chainsaw does not seem to bother cows?Sure don't remember farm work being so hard.
Have about 4-1/2 Acres of Pasture. It took some real terra forming to create it. Wonder how many thousands of yards of material have been moved?Sure looks nice where you have opened it up and got the grass to grow!!
