Talked to the saleman this AM. The 2320 is ordered! He did not elaborate on the promos now being offered. Apparently whatever Deere changed does not affect the 2000 series and/or my deal. I guess the interest rates stayed the same. I see that they had had material collection systems on special with another attachment. I was hoping because of the time of year, they would put a special promo on snow removal equip. which would help me on the blower, but guess not. Now my wait begins.

That's great news!

Possibly your original deal holds since you already took the preliminary steps for the purchase.

Now the wait - guess they don't have the machine in stock?
How long a wait will it be?

I saw in a recent newspaper ad that Kubota has extended their 0% for 36 months deal to the end of the year. There were also "select models" from dealer stock available at 0% for 48 months with 10% downpayment.
I would think Deere would do something similar.

They had a 2320 and a 2520 in stock when we first got serious about buying in August. They had those same two machines on the lot until about a week and a half ago. I just missed it! They are telling me two weeks, but no longer than three. But the salesman told me quite often they come in a lot quicker, so we'll see. I do have a few jobs we've been saving for the FEL that we would like done before winter, so the sooner the better of course.

JSR, did you go to Zahm & Matson? Did you get a good discount off MSRP? We used to deal with Bar-Chel in Springville and other than parts had not dealt with Zahm on big ticket purchases. Did they treat you fairly?

ejb,
I did go with Zahm & Matson(Falconer) for two reasons. First if you want a JD in this area, you don't have much choice as they own most all dealers in a two hour drive. Second, they are within five miles from my house. My wife is from Attica (the town, not the prison) and they own Goodridge Farm Supply up there and I've dealt with them on my in law's equip. too. I have always found them very good to deal with. My recent experience has been no different. If you want a full breakdown, let me know, but the 2320 deal was on average 14% off MSRP on their first quote. The trade for our GX345 is fair and I'm getting them to weld&paint some hooks on the FEL bucket and throw in the kids two seat batterized Gator for my two sons (that will be one Xmas gift done).

Looks like the financing changed - I think you did good.

Now they have 0% for 24 months and 10.9% revolving.
