sammyboy i agree with you i just purchased 5 acres and am fixing to get a n ew tractor fel and rc and bblade too. i may never be arou nd in 5 months. i want to enjoy now im 50 years old and i have waited for many things.. i am going to get a tractor to day for me to play and wrk with,, life is short very short,,dont get me wrong now finances should be a consider ation , but what the heck a 250 dollar not at the least you want i t , my light bill is that and all that does is keep me out of the dark and cool,, to all the people that want to wait,, i say yesterday is history , tommorow is a mystery i can only deal with today..

Very good point. I've had this 5 acre place for 14 years and was always fixing broken tractors for mowing and plowing my small garden. I spent more time fixing than working them!
Finally bought a new BX2200 last year with mower and FEL. Now I could kick myself for not buying one 14 years ago when I needed it.
If the finances permit, do it, you won't regret it.
Age here is 56 and I don't need anymore aggravation!

I talked to my dealer about the rumor of new models earlier this year when I was considering my 3010. He said he had not heard of this, but he doubted I could get a better deal by waiting. Last week I called him up about a new implement, and he informed me that in fact Kubota had stopped production on all L series and was tooling up for the new model. He also said that their current price on the 3010 was more than $1000.00 more than I paid, due to the fact that there was now a limited supply - at least in mid Michigan.

I've been shopping to buy now. A dealer I spoke with yesterday told me that along with the new L series tractors, Kubota is producing 2 new BX series tractors. He wouldn't Know any details until September and wouldn't have them in stock until spring. Just word of mouth but I thought it worth mentioning.

As for my own shopping. The dealers around here won't do better than $13,340 for a BX2200 w/ FEL & 60"MMM plus tax. I still have to get a boxblade on top of that. So.... though I would like to buy now I'm waiting/shopping.
